Rafael Keri is a character that was born in an Armenian Comedy Play "Mez Lavootyoon Chee Yekel," written & directed by Vahik, that got the best reviews from the audience.  This character continued on to a new Comedy Play with him being in the leading role.  As he came more to the foreground, Vahik pushed him to a new ground breaking persona.

Rafael Keri comes from the traditional background of Armenian heritage who has moved from Iran to America where he faces with daily life dilemmas with his family and everything that comes with it.  His wisdom on human relationships is portrayed throughout the whole play.

Rafael Keri may not be a Harvard graduate or a war veteran, but he certainly knows how to capture the heart of the audience.  He speaks the truth and brings up issues and thoughts that linger in everyone's mind.  He comments on many important yet unspoken topics, from simple family dilemmas to major social issues.
